Skyler took me to Spencer's for our 11 months anniversary. (Unlikely that we'll be celebrating month-to-month after we hit our year mark, but fun for now, am I right?)The food was absolutely delicious, the company fantastic, and the conversation surrounding us fascinating (I listened to the couple beside us insisting to their waitress that the reason McDonald's can claim an "all beef patty" is because it's made entirely of beef liver. All beef... beef liver. Get it?" Seriously, he told her so many times all beef... but it's the liver).
Our waiter asked us if we were celebrating a special event. We told
him we were there for the anniversary and he said we could pick a complimentary dessert. Flourless chocolate cake with creme fresh, please. We were so full we decided to take it home with us... and ended up eating two days later. Still SO SO SO good. Did I mention how good it was? SO good. Hooray for celebratory anniversary desserts!
